Management at home
For toothache pain, over the counter painkillers such as Paracetamol or Ibuprofen will help symptoms
If you have extreme sensitivity to hot or cold, rub desensitizing toothpaste such as Sensodyne or Colgate Pro-Relief directly on the affected area and don’t rinse afterwards. Do this several times a day
Wisdom tooth pain can be managed with regular mouthwashes using warm salt water or Savacol, combined with painkillers and thorough cleaning of the area
If you have trouble swallowing or have swelling of your cheek you may need antibiotics. Please call us.
