We have a strong belief in ongoing education, allowing Aesthetic Dental to provide the most up to date techniques and treatments available.
Rob & Tracey both graduated from the University of Otago in 1994 and 1992 respectively. They spent eleven years in private dentistry in England before returning to NZ in 2005 to start a practice of their own.
Rob enjoys all aspects of clinical dentistry and takes pride in the fact that Aesthetic Dental can offer nearly all services in house without the need for referral. “I have a particular interest in Implant dentistry and have been involved in this for the last 15 years. Dentistry is constantly evolving and changing and it requires us to keep up and ahead of the ball. We have invested heavily in technology such as our CEREC CAD CAM computer which allows us to deliver crowns/ceramic restorations to patients in ONE day.”
Outside the surgery Rob enjoys golf, skiing, fly fishing and making a drop of wine. ” Tracey and I believe it is important to try and achieve the correct work-life balance as this makes us better at what we do.”
Tracey graduated from the university of Otago in 1992. Tracey spent eleven years in private dentistry in England before returning to NZ in 2005 to start a practice with Rob. Growing up in the King Country Tracey studied radiography for two years at Waikato Hospital before pursuing dentistry ay Otago. After graduation Tracey worked for two years as Dental House Surgeon at Invercargill Hospital before heading to the UK with Rob.
Tracey has always enjoyed all aspects of dentistry and her experience in radiography, hospital dentistry and years of private practice allow her to provide a broad spectrum of clinical skills and knowledge for her patients. “Rob and I both feel it is imperative to invest in continuing education-not just for ourselves but the entire practice.”
“Away from the practice I enjoy gardening, skiing, reading, cooking and making a spot of olive oil for ourselves. Our two golden retrievers keep us fit and healthy.”
